Snow Goose XA-64 (a female) was banded on 8-10-16 near Pond Inlet in Nunavut, Canada. She was encountered in the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna, DE on 2-20-17. She has since left for her return trip of nearly 1,800 miles to her breeding grounds. Nunavut is the newest, largest, and northernmost territory of Canada. It was separated officially from the Northwest Territories on April 1, 1999.
