….I see love

I’ve actually spent some time in the studio tonight, having come to ‘crunch time’ on a couple of work projects that I must confess to having been putting off in my usual ostrich-like manner. I was supposed to do them last weekend and I put them off, then this weekend and again they got put off…..as always, I bite off more than I can chew on a regular basis and promise the moon when I only have the stars to give!!! (hee hee)

This shot isn’t one of the work shots but the idea came to me as I worked on the shot for work and when I executed it I found I really loved it.

This crystal ball is part of a garden ornament that was my ‘treat’ from grand plan immoral earnings. It’s found its way indoors today and to be honest, if it’d not come indoors, it’d have probably been on Dartmoor by now – this weather is just incredible. It’s as though we’re paying the price of a fabulous April by having April weather as groundhog days forever more.

Anyway, the shot one of my cutesy ideas which continue along my hearts theme even though the original heart is now nothing more than dust, having been burned almost exactly a year ago.

So do I really see love in my future? Yes, of course I do – the eternal optimist that I am sees a starry future of love and happiness for me and ‘im. Perhaps I’m revelling in spending a few days at home, with David and my other loves all around me. Anyway, I’m hoping that my stars will be kind to me and allow me this precious happiness to continue to flourish.

Our home is actually starting to look more like a home than a building site. We really are starting to find our feet at long last. I just wish this weather would break and we could enjoy our summer.

I know I could probably have got this shot with a lot less effort with photoshop trickery but firstly I’m not competent enough in PS and second, I do like my photos to be photos if you see what I mean!
