I must be honest, I’m more than a little ‘brain dead’ today, after a difficult day, fighting against the clock to get something out to a client. You know what it’s like – in times of urgent need, all sorts of things conspire against you to make problems.
Anyway, the document went out (hopefully as it should have done, if a little later than planned) so I was able to ‘down tools’ for the day, by the skin of my teeth as they say.
So, I listlessly came to the house to discover that the bit of jigsaw I’d been waiting on for my January photography project had finally fallen into place while I was away and that gave me some admin to do. By the time I’d finished that, all I felt like doing was having a bath, curling up on the sofa and vegging, but I’d not thought for a moment about a pic. No inspiration was forthcoming and of course once in a panic about suchlike, it gets more and more difficult to ‘magic something out of the air’.
I wandered into the dining room to find the slinky lying on the table and decided to get it in action for my shot – all ‘good’ so far. I got the shot then spotted DMs expression when he realised what I was shooting. Hmmmmm. That means he wanted a shot of the slinky then! Of course I should have worked that out for myself because otherwise it would probably still be languishing in a drawer somewhere. As I’ve already said though, I have a frazzled brain and am dog tired after three nights away from home.
So, here’s my cack one and you’ll get a better, more imaginative one next week I expect on pbase/vid64!
Last year, I was also exhausted from travelling - though then I had 'gone there and back in a day'!
