Have you ever seen the film with Anthony Hopkins and Anne Bancroft called 84 Charing Cross Road? It is a wonderful film and is a true story of a woman in New York and a man in a second hand bookshop in London who corresponded for more than fifty years. They never met because when she finally came to London he had died. It's a wonderful warm story of kindness and respect. If you haven't seen it you should!!!
