…with almost 50mph winds causing havoc here in Cornwall (and yes, I know that on this occasion they were stronger further north). On days like these, my journey to work could be described as either interesting or terrifying depending on your point of view. I tend towards the latter. Our roads turn into skidpans, made treacherous by a toxic soup of leaves , twigs, stones and other detritus blown from trees and hedgerows combined with small rivers running along the tarmac. The whole makes for a very slippery covering and when you combine the surface with the twisty, narrow roads then it makes for a scary ride to work.
Today when I arrived at work I found the car park full of leaves (see above) and most pleasingly to the eye, a big pile of them on the Ferrari on the lot. I kept thinking a pic of the Ferrari with leaves would make a good pic but kept putting it off thinking I’d get it when I left. Sadly for me the Ferrari had gone by the time I came out and so here are the leaves without the car!
