Damn, look, there is a photographer in her back on the floor! The unexpected occurs when you start looking where you are not naturally driven to. That's a terrific example of it.

Excellent composition. That phrase is bandied around way too much (I'm guilty myself), but for me here it really does apply - the eyes are led through the image from the two people upwards to the decorated ceiling, and the light and shadow really brings the painting alive. (I tried converting the photos I took in here to black and white, but was too afraid of losing the impact of the amazing room that I chickened out and left them in colour, except for one I think.) The fact that it looks as though they are ignoring the work of art above them adds the x factor. Great stuff Ai Li.

They are looking down on that refelective table, aren't they?? Wonder what the original painters would think of today's world...
