this dual shot is really amazing. i keep coming back to this same photo. i love everything abt it, the composition, the simple yet impactful image, the contrast of colours. the red string... so simple, so powerful agains the human body. a work of art indeed. please blow this up and frame. my friend, it is truly a masterpiece.

Memories can tie you down and hold you back, but you can't live without them, and no one can take your memories away, even if you wish them to (my interpretation of the first photo). They are better at your shoulder as a gentle reminder of what has made you who you are, while not stopping you from moving on.

The hands are offering on one side, protecting on the other. The red link ties on one side, and simply covers on the other side. In this juxtaposition, each side helps to read the other. Similar and very different. The compositions are really interesting. The softness of the images is also very appropriate. Excellent work, Ai Li. V

Another intriguing diptych, Ai Li... Perfect placement of your hands - you are exposed, yet covered. You appear to be offering in both images. The first one you offer with plea The second one you offer with insistance. There is a feel of punishment due or wanted here... Maybe because "with or without you" is punishment any way you look at it. Although you post less than you used to, the images you give us are creative, unusual, and soulful.
