Orca Tail Slap

Puget Sound, Washington, USA

We witnessed a pack of 'transient' (mammal-hunting) orcas killing a steller sea-lion.
While the orcas are hunting they are in stealth mode - very discrete.
Once they make the kill they go into celebration mode - with tail-slaps and breaching.
This was quite a show.
