Lioness with Zebra

Serengeti, Tanzania

This young lioness had just killed the zebra and she was still breathing hard.
She was very protective of her kill and glared at us savagely when we got too close.

That spine deformity must really impact her ability to hunt, as her shoulder muscles are not as developed. I guess she has learned to compensate. Nicely captured moment. Voted.
