I began taking Bird Photos a year ago with a new Nikon D70 in 2004. My bird photos are taken of wild birds. I try my best to follow ethical guidelines for bird photography. I don't bait or deliberately flush a bird to get a shot (not counting yard feeders). I don't pursue birds flushing them over and over. I don't overwork a particular bird. I take a few shots (less than a dozen usually) and move on. If a bird is attracting too many human observers, I take a couple of shots and move on. No nest shots, no shots of birds protecting nests. If there is significant doctoring of a photo, it will be described on the photo. Why the fuss? Read this - http://www.birdprotectionquebec.org/articles.htm - well this link no longer works.
