Distinguished from the Ruby-throated Hummingbird (A. colubris) by
wing shape. The tips of the wing are broad and curved compared to
the narrow and straight tips of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
In addition, the crown of this bird was gray compared to the crown
of the Ruby-throat which is usually green (According to Sibley)
