Please feel free to browse my collection of nature photographs. With the exception of some bird photos and several butterflies, all species were photographed in their natural environments. Although I have a new Nikon D300s SLR, many of the photographs were taken with my Nikon D200 and D70 cameras. Earlier photographs were taken with Nikon Coolpix cameras including the 5400 and 8700. Several of the bird photographs were taken using a Nikon 20 X 60 spotting scope with the aid of a tripod. Many of the photos were taken with the aid of a monopod but some were shot hand-held.
I have attempted to correctly identify the various species presented in my galleries. I invite you to call to my attention, any errors in identification and/or the correct identification of those species I have listed as "unidentified". I would also appreciate any suggestions as to how to improve the photos themselves.
