Some of my earlier images in this gallery chronicle my observation of baby alligators hatching from eggs in the wild.
They were first noticed as a result of hearing their calls after hatching.
All observations were made from a boat guided by Kathleen McMenamin, Master Naturalist, H2O Sports, Hilton Head, SC.
Without Kathleen's keen observations, these hatchlings would have never been noticed.
