Larose Forest

Another insect found on the native ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), and this one is, no surprise, on a ragweed. They were, according to Bug Guide: "introduced to Russia in 1978 to control ragweed (with frustrating results) (Reznik et al.)"

A pretty little beetle even if it didn't get rid of the ragweed. Like his pom pom feelers.
