Gray partridge

Embrun

Also called Hungarian Partridge, an introduced species that has declined dramatically over the last 25 years. This is an awful photo because the minute I stopped the car they started running and my camera doesn't do 'running'! I post it only because it was a rare chance for me to see, let alone photograph, this species.
