Morning-glory Prominent (Schizura ipomoeae), #8005

Reveler Conservation Area

Despite the name, this species apparently does NOT feed on morning glory, though it does feed on many shrubs and trees. I found it on Basswood, where it looked at first like a dried, dead edge to the hole in the leaf!
