Treehopper (Telamona excelsa), male

Reveler Conservation Area

This beautiful large (12mm) treehopper is closely associated with hickory trees (Carya), of which there is an abundance on this site south of Limoges. The female of the species is a vivid bright green. Also called Telamona unicolor.
