Here is the same little fellow I posted a photo of yesterday, taken in Marlborough Forest. This time, he is coming out of the second tunnel opening under the cedar tree. Unfortunately, conditions were very dark in the dense forest and none of my photos turned out particularly well, but I'm posting the few that aren't too blurry! It was such a privilege to have a lengthy encounter with this tiny little guy. Lengthy meaning about 60 seconds, which in weasel times is an eternity.
