Eyelash fungus (Scutellinia)

Shaw Woods. Another shot of the odd little sac fungus, very aptly named 'eyelash fungus' for the fringe of "hair" around the perimeter. These are very tiny, perhaps a few mm in diameter. Somtimes they are larger, but never are they really big. They grow on old, well-rotted logs in forested settings.
