I was enchanted to find a patch of chinese lanterns on my hike today. Amidst all the tall grasses, thistles and other plants, there they were, a burst of colour. They are a garden plant but are sometimes found outside of garden settings, as so many cultivated plants are, some become invasive, others, not.
