Ichneumonid Wasp cocoon with remains of a Tussock moth caterpillar

Ichneumonid wasps are parasites of many caterpillars. Here you can see the poor caterpillar has been reduced to a few flimsy remains. This is probably made by a wasp in the subfamily Campopleginae.
