Birch polypore probably chewed by deer

Although it is a bit difficult to determine, this large polypore looks like it was chewed by a deer, With a red squirrel, another animal that eats these fungi, the tooth marks are obviously smaller. Furthermore, red squirrels chew using top and bottom incisors, whereas deer of course, have only lower incisors.
