White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) scat

Dunrobin area. Depending on what deer eat, their scat can look quite different. When there is more moisture content, the pellets clump together to form scat that looks quite different from the piles of pellets that look more like rabbit droppings.

I would never have guessed that was from a deer. I have only recognized two large animal scats on my property and that is of a deer and a bear.
I learn so much for you Christine.
Johan made me laugh out loud.
