Mouse or Meadow Vole tracks

I think these are probably Meadow vole tracks, but they don't quite look right. However, they don't look exactly right for Peromyscusmouse tracks either.

What a wonderful set of tracks! I can picture a cute field mouse scampering in a stop and start manner before diving for cover.
