European skipper (Thymelicus lineola), with pollen packets on feet

You can see the sticky yellow pollen packets from common milkweeds, attached to this little guy's feet. When butterflies, and other insects, land on milkweeds, their feet often become firmly stuck in the flower heads. When they finally pull free, the little pollen packets are attached, and dislodged when they land at the next milkweed. This is pollination at work!
