Norwescon 2008

Norwescon - the premier Pacific Northwest Science Fiction and Fantasy convention.
It happens every year.
Gearheads, gamers, fantasy fans, witches, astronauts, scientists of all fields including genuine rocket science pioneers all invade the SeaTac DoubleTree and turn it into a space ship and fantasy forrest for 4 days during the Easter weekend.
Thanks to all of the SciFi fannish community, as this has been my chance for a fantastic learning experience!
These are only a few impressions of the colorful crowd from all walks of life one can find and meet there.
In the 6 years I have attended I began a quest to capture these folk and their creations.
Many thanks go to all who make this event happen, and those who allow photographers to capture them.

Apologies are also due, for the long delays in posting these pictures, for all the missed, badly exposed, blurred, and otherwise ruined shots that didn't make it into this gallery.
I hope that next time I can give you a better memory of a once a year dive into another life :)
