Valençay

The last chateau we visited. There is a clear view of it from a distance, but we drove round in the rain
for some time looking for a car park and the entrance, finally parked in a street in the town and walked
back. There seemed to be nobody about, so I thought it must be closed. "They are all inside," said
the girl at the desk (in English!). There were about two other visitors. What a contrast to Versailles!
