Now we need a shot of a boat watching whale, if you please. :-)
Guest 27-Jan-2006 16:27
I agree with you Laine. This shot is so great. The sharpness and the true colour are amazing :) So refreshing.
Guest 27-Jan-2006 13:18
Very pretty light here Laine.

High quality! The sharpness and the colors are perfect and natural. I can feel the breeze!

Terrific image. Love the composition; the walking bridge leads the view right across the image, and the color contrasts of the roof (& its trim) against the sky & water work great here.
CJ Burianek27-Jan-2006 05:39
Very SHARP!! And love the colors!
Mindy McNaugher27-Jan-2006 05:00

Two nice shots, very sharp!

At 800th of a second know worries. I rarely use a tripod except for SPs. I gather you use one frequently?
Herb 27-Jan-2006 03:52
Nice image
Chris27-Jan-2006 03:48
Nice wide angle, beautiful blues. And you are sillier, for the record. :)
royalld27-Jan-2006 03:44
Both are beautiful shots.

Sharp as a tack and the pier scene is wonderful--tells a story.
Guest 27-Jan-2006 01:32
Two beautiful shots. Looks like the whale watching boat can really move.
Guest 27-Jan-2006 01:10
I love this red roof too ;-)
On all this blue, it's really nice, and, as Sheila said, somehow surprising here!
Sheila27-Jan-2006 00:44
I like the first one Laine. The red roof is so sharp and so incongruous!
Breland27-Jan-2006 00:44
Both are very nice and have the feel of summer but the water, red roof and sky really draw you in. Nice shot Laine.
wernere0127-Jan-2006 00:39
So if we are longing for a second hand summer at the moment, we only have to come back to your galleries. That´s a fine service Laine. Thanks!
Linda Willets27-Jan-2006 00:37
excellent job.. like the first with the red roof that draws you in.
Yvonne27-Jan-2006 00:01
They're BOTH great Laine! You're sure a fast learner with your new camera!
Gayle P. Clement26-Jan-2006 23:59
I like them both but I especially like the leading blue lines of the second one.

Here, at the other end of the world, we have two-digit minus temperatures and it is hard to image a summer seaside atmosphere like that on the image. Great image, thanks for sharing!
