Hippeastum Papillio

First flowering on 20/10/14
Since most of the garden is dead as we sink deeper into another drought and on acreage where there is no town water to turn on a tap only the collection in our dams ( ponds to others ) and most of it has gone I guess it will never thrive.

So gorgeous! But sad to think of the continued drought. Here it is rainy, with more rain and more rain.... If we could only send some your way.

This is absolutely beautiful, Laine! Wish I could send some of our rain your way. It's so damp and chilly here all the time. \/

Beautiful giant blossoms. Our drought is not dire, but another dry winter will be very bad. V
