These glasshouses in the public gardens in towns near us seem to be from about the same era and like yours here are a special place to visit with beautiful blooms...a heritage for us to enjoy and appreciate our forefathers.Great perspective to show yours to advantage,Laine.V
So pretty. We have one in New Orleans' Botanical Garden in City Park that houses a cacti collection. During Katrina and the days following, the electric system could not work because their was no electricity and the plants were beginning to fry. New York policemen, hired to protect the Museum, saw that and broke a few windows and opened doors and saved the very expensive collection.
