Tawny Frogmouth

( Podargus strigoides) is an Australian species of frogmouth. Often mistaken for an owl.

The Butcher Birds & Crows harassed it until it fell from the tree into our garden. We kept it in a safe place until nightfall
then released it.

I have been caught up with post holiday work with a migraine thrown in, both have kept me away for a few days so I'm behind in comments...again !!
