Medieval Queen ~ Modern Woman

Elizabeth Woodville widow of Edward IV parting with her youngest son the Duke of York who was imprisoned with his brother, Edward Prince of Wales in the Tower of London. Her sons were never seen again and were assumed to have been murdered.

I know nothing about the modern woman who just happened to be standing there...

A penny for her thoughts. Nice candid, Laine.
I imagine Goya would have done the brutality of this event with more realism.

She looks really captivated by the dramatic art. Beautifully composed and having her in the scene gives it context and makes it so much more than another museum photo. V.
