We've had so many shark attacks this year that the powers that be are thinking of building one of these.

Good capture; I can smell the salt water and hear the slap of the waves. (In theory; I have an ear infection and haven't been able to hear anything for three days...)
In particular the low angle with the horizon sitting so high in the frame tends to make the pool feel barely separated at all from the ocean beyond; only a thin layer of concrete, which seems flimsy against the ocean beyond.
This shot has brought back memories of me learning to swim - it was in a pool like this - I worried about "creatures" swimming in there with me! Dad did say that after high tide the pool was checked and anything live was taken out but I was never quite convinced. It looks like your day is as grey as ours!
