Bald Eagle

Finally got out for a few hours Saturday. Started off sunny but it did not last for long.
This eagle was sitting in a tree by the parking lot at the Courtenay River Estuary.

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM
1/500s f/5.6 at 420.0mm iso100 full exif
