When shooting from the hip close, like this, it also helps to be on a noisy street shooting at 5 fps, AI servo focus mode, max speed that a tolerable DOF will allow, and once again, a lot of practice

Perfect title. Well illustrated.
Ah, I see how you do that. Only in the last 2 wks did I decide to start shooting from the waist
when encountering scenes or expressions of interest to me. Getting a photo at all of something
that interests you is good (not so easy if they see you) and then working with it later.

This image jumps out at us because it is the most intimate image in this gallery, the least cluttered, and rich in contrast emotions. It expresses such human values as affluence, sanctimony and boredom. For some, these might even be stereotypical Parisians.
