I like these forlorn images of a great past

I love that 60´s style, where hope was at its best! V.

Oh, I like this very much. Excellent perspective and composition!

I'm with Coleen, was thinking about the design of the bars. Not to keep someone out, but to keep some thing out. I suppose something from overhead? See... this is why I like your work. You make me wonder. V

A terrific composition. Love the quote. BV

Love the quote. Cannot understand the position of the bars, however, and not at the bottom of the window.
John King12-Jan-2012 01:10
The opaque windows and the bars really emphasize the message of the quote. Super composition and steely mid-grey tones. V.

Abandoned and decaying but still oozing interest and intrigue. I like the processing, it suits the subject perfectly.
The quote, I don't know the gentleman but he certainly has his eye on life.

Well seen and wonderfully done!!

Oh, I do like this quote! And I absolutely love this wonderful photo. The bars, but also the sense of decay (whether true or not) give a sense of despair, while at the same time, the old building is beautiful in its decay! BV

A good shot to go with the quote...great tones and clarity, Karen
