WARNING: You need to drive through a stream to get to this falls! It is not bad, it is about 15-20 feet across and about 6-8 inches deep. My guess is recent rains could effect that.

Dicks Creek Falls is located inside the Chattooga National Wild and Scenic River Area and is about 60 feet high feeding into the Chattooga River (Can you say Deliverance, it was filmed near hear).

Travel north on 441 into Clayton and make a right (East, only way you can go) on Warwomen Road (if you reached the Welcome-Information Center you went about a block past Warwoman). Travel 5.8 miles and turn right on Sandy Ford Road. Travel an additional 4 miles (note the road will make a fork/ hard left at one point.) Near the end of this 4 mile stretch you will need to drive across a stream, which actually I assume is Dicks Creeks, and shortly after that you will see the trailhead of Bartram Trail. Park hear and take the trail North (to the left as you drove in) about 1/2 mile. The walk is moderate and not bad. As you walk the trial the trial will appear to fork, there will be a bridge to your right, take that bridge to the Falls. The trail will have an opening at the top of the falls. To get to the base of the falls continue down further and look for a small path to the right that will lead to the base. Note that the path to the base is steep and a little tricky to navigate, but the view from the base is well worth it. From the base you can few the falls as well as the Chattooga River.
