Bridal Veil Falls - North Carolina

Bridal Veil Falls is located right on Hwy. 64 about 5 minutes west of Highlands, NC. You used to be able to drive behind the falls, but eveidently a large boulder fell off and now blocks the drive under. The falls is about 100 feet high and you can still walk behind them. There are a few areas on either side of the falls to park and there is plenty of places to take pictures. Just be careful, after all you are right on the main road.

These shots were all taken with a Canon 20D and 24-70L Lens using a B+W ND103 and B+W CP mounted on a Bogen 3021Pro tripod and using a Bogen 322RC2 Ball/Grip head.

I rate this falls at 4 and the access difficulty as 1.

This is one of our favorite water falls - when we were there this weekend, it had snowed and there was alot of ice. The kids really enjoyed it.
