Spent the evening at the Year end awards at my local photo club, where there are many many excellent photograhers. I learn something new everytime I go. Once a month there is a program night, different subjects or techinques are taught. The 2nd meeting of the month is 'Judging' night. Class A-professinal level; Class B, just slighting less than Class A.. Creative: Digitally manipulated, and Black and white. Each night there are between 10-20 or 25 entries. A few weeks ago they brought all the award winners from the past 9 months together (1st thru Honorable Mention) for a final overall judging for year end awards. Needless to say I'm a bit overwhelmed.
Thing is, you guys saw them all first, and it was mostly your comments and appreciation that made me submit them in the first place, cause I never would have otherwise. So the thanks really starts and belongs right here.
