I grew up down the street from this fine school. I can remember watching football games in the late fifties and hockey games as well. Nichols always excelled in sports and academics. The best thing, though, was its fields. It had a huge area set aside with ball fields and it had a path we used to use for our bikes. One winter the entire field was a frozen sea of ice where we could skate for acres. Lots of pickup baseball memories!

Great academic prep school! I gleaned more useful information and valuable learning skills here during high school (1947-1951) than in my later college, graduate and post-doctoral years.
Many thanks to Ray Verrill, Paul Seamans, Ed Anderson, Don Waterman, Pliny Hayes , Augie Fox, Phil Boocock....et.al...Thank you all for the grounding, and the happy memories!
