Precinct 8 is located on Fillmore Avenue located between Broadway and Paderewski. Precinct 8 was located in the heart of Polonia. Located across the street was the former Ladder 11's house. The old station is now a in private hands.
Precinct 12 was built in this same style of architecture.
Sadly, the Precinct was torn down a couple years ago to make way for, you guessed it, another parking lot. It was located on Genesee Street at East Parade. Precinct 12 was noteworthy in the fact it was the only station left to have a free standing carriage house. The Buffalo Police Reserves, which were based out of PCT. 12, still meet at The Rock, which sits at the crossroads of Walden, Best, and Genesee every Memorial Day.
