Class of 1970 - Any word on the 40 year reunion
Hi, Iam Cynthia aka Cindy and graduated from Ken High 1978. Sure would like to hear from my classmates.
Hi im a class of 87 alumni so many memories friends parties pep rallies even the teachers and Mr Marrotta much love to all my Ken-High Family forever
I graduated from Ken in 1963. Besides being a fine school with great teachers, we had fantastic football pep assemblies. I remember that when we sang the alma mater everyone ( squeeks, geeks and hoods) sang. Also, the mosaic compass in the main hallway was not to be stepped on. It was a great time to be in high school.
Thomas Burns (Class of '69)
Kathy, your here to. You really get around. Hope to see you at the (Informal) Class of '69 Reunion.

Maggie - I had Mr. Mudd for gym class when he was at PS#9 on Bailey Avenue near Doat Street. That was about 1963.
My sons had Mr. Mudd for gym class in 1985. I graduated from Ken in '67. Those were good times.

I had a great time at Kensington. The teachers were really first class and I learned a lot.
Where are you?? And how have you been doing for the last 40 years?? Contact me email:firstname.lastname@example.org - Ed Kreinheder
I graduated there in 1966. Great school. Too bad the morons took it downhill. Great teachers and most of us wanted to learn back then. What a shame for Ken High to go down like it has. But then again, what do you expect when the students rule the school because we're afraid to give the "kids" a trauma.
Class of 1967 Also-A lot of the teachers were great! Mr Kelly was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, unlike vice principal Blomberg. Mr G. was nice, Ms Reagan, Coach Tontillo, Mr Lipsius, so many. Such a shame to close a great place like this, and now I wish I could go back. Thanks to the English teachers who helped me to get a book published! Can't forget the Ken Bennett assemblies either...:-)
My father(Hugh Lipsius)was a teacher and football coach at Kensington for many years. Sad that Kensington has closed - seems I lost another piece of my Dad.
WOW! Thank you for sharing. I graduated in '81. I too was very sorry to hear of it's closing.
I remember when I could not wait to finish and get out of there. Now I wish I could go back for one more day! We had alot of great times there. Im glad its still standing. Its funny I have dreams of going out the front doors from time to time.
Kensington High School as of 2008, is now the new Olmsted High School & Middle School (#56)

I also went to Ken ... graduated in '72. I sure wish I had a piece of stone from that school ... I miss Mr. Gianturco. If anyone knows where he is .. (or if he's even still alive) .. let me know! Stay well ol' green & gold !! Ray A. Middleman069@msn.com
I was not aware that they closed Ken High. When did it happen? What year did you graduate? I graduated in 1967.
This is my alma mater. Sure wish they hadn't closed it. That building holds lots of memories for me and I'm sure so many others.
