Greetings all!,
Name here is Dale Covino (also have a twin brother). I liked the school but, too bad it closed down and then became a police department. Teaches were ok except Mr. "Blocko" whom was very "stuffed shirt. Had Mr. Smyth as a 7th and 8th grade homeroom and teacher. Ran into Mr. Petock (music teacher) back in approx. 1979 at a gas station. Hello to all those whom attended "29" as I still remember most all names.

Carol Urbanski, graduating class of 1971. Great grammar school with good memories. Hello to all from our classes.

I went to this school, class of 71. Last time I was in Buffalo I was surprised it was not an elementary school anymore. Through the years I had classes on every floor.

I went to PS 29 for 5th and 6th grades. We had "bussing" during those days in the late 70's - and so our class was a little racially diverse - and I can still recall Oscar Paris singing "rock with you" - and Viola was cool too - I remember leaving those doors to march in the MLK walk - and of course, making hundreds of paper flowers for the St Patricks Day parade (even though I would have rather have had art class). Great school when I went there. Really great!
