Correction: St. Michaels Church fire was in 1962. I was an alter boy and just completed serving 5 O'clock. Shortly after a Thunderstorm Lightning strike hit the tower and destroyed the roof and interior. Photos welcome.

I grew up at St Michael's. .. age 7 alterboy for 8 yrs. Worked in sacristy, dining bus boy for parish jesuits, worked in office phone switchboard and counted Sunday collections. Saw the church burn down in late 1950's. Worked at tempoary home of Town Casino on Main St. until New Church was open. I would like to find photos of the way the Old Church looked before the fire. Thanks
