The legendary Tipitina's. One of the best known music venues in New Orleans. Located in a 1912 building at 501 Napoleon Avenue, which was variously a gambling den, gymnasium, and brothel. Sometimes it seems that every building in New Orleans was a brothel at one time or another, which only adds to the color, character and mystique of New Orleans.

Tipitina's opened as a music club in 1977, and has showcased a who's who of the musical spectrum. Some say that it is not the club it once was, but it is still a great place to catch a show. We caught the Sunday Cajun fais do do with Bruce Daigrepont. It was a great time and show.
