The Indian Kutch, always a magic sounding name to my ears, had been long in my wishes, to travel to.

I went on traveling thru Gujarat (to whom the Kutch belongs and a subject of further galleries), a state north of Mumbai and south of Rajasthan. A place with fewer tourists, but none the less with a grand history and fascinating culture. People were kind, friendly and welcoming, and there was enough culture to leave me hungry for more, and have me desire to go back again.

I especially regretted not to have been able to stay longer in Ahmedabad, the capital, where I spent a glorious day photographing workers in small factories along the bustling thoroughfares of the city.
