2006/2008 Solar Minimum

There have been no exciting sun spots since 2006 but there were a few mild auroral displays because of coronal hole disturbances. The one great storm in December 2007 was obscurred by thick clouds. It was so good I could see the glow through the clouds!

I’m amazed, Kim, it’s a marvellous gallery.
All the photos are taken in a very accurate way and they have such an evocative appeal.
