Bristol

The Arches

That's true David,
I wished I had my tripod to get more DOF.
I should remember this lens don't have the Image Stabilisation.
This is such a big difference even if I got 2 more stops here.
A question: does 2 stops Aperture really compensate the IS?
Does anyone know? I don't.

Canon EOS 350D
1/25s f/2.8 at 24.0mm iso1600 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I love it's sharpness everywhere other than the streetlight which blown out that way adds interest...at least it does for me.

excellent b&w!

With a much longer exposure you might have had trouble
with that streetlamp.
Looks good from here!

PS: Watch your back!

Well seen and well held!
can only assume you hand held as it looks like you are out of options on the exif data!

Wonderful black and white photo and you have a great eye to see this very interesting angle of the street. :)

Its good how you've managed to get the arch illuminated. Nice one.
