I live on upper Broadway and work just off of Broadway and 34th Street. These two neighborhoods couldn't be as different. The Broadway where I live is mostly a mixture of Dominican, Mexican, various other Latino mixes, and African. The Broadway of the area where I work is noted for its sweat shops producing counterfeit clothing of name brand manufacturers. It is mostly a mix of people of African, East Indian, and various Latin origins. Most people on the street here are Muslim, where they worship in a storefront mosque a couple of blocks away.
