In 1934, the KLM Fokker F-XVIII Snip made the first Trans-Atlantic air mail flight to Curaçao.
The crossing took eight days. The route was from Amsterdam via Marseille,
Alicante, Casablanca, Cabo Verde, Paramaribo and Caracas.
